Changed front calipers so decided to overhaul rear calipers too. Rear rotors were worn, and since disassembling that far, thought I’d disassemble calipers too.

Rotors are genuine Honda parts, pads are Endless MX72.
Removed pistons with air, also replaced dust boots. OEM boots were consultation items so ordered Seiken ones. Inside of calipers quite clean but cleaned with parts cleaner and brush.
Reassembled in reverse order and bled air. SST for fitting pistons overwhelmingly effective. Might not have fitted without it…
Drove locally without problems, so tested at Sodegaura Circuit. Was slightly wet so couldn’t push as hard as last time, but overhaul itself no problems, no weird rear behavior during braking so OK.
Burn marks appeared, rotor and pad bedded in. Abrasive material on center of circle, so judged slide pin movement also no problem.
Still felt rear lifting sensation during 3-4 corner braking, so only options are driving style or rear wing. Don’t want to change appearance though, so pondering…
