The 996 was made all shiny by the dealer with silicon oil or wax. Those shops don’t do any real maintenance – TYPE ONE is great.
When I stripped it off, there were age-appropriate scratches and stains, so I decided to polish. Red x yellow gives off a strong Ferrari vibe.
Using the GP150S and IZA01 combination that I also used on the S2000 and DB8. Can’t achieve mirror finish but this is safe enough for amateur work.
The color returns.
It’s best to do the things that bother you yourself. This should be good enough.
