The ’98 spec DB8 features factory HID projector headlights. The yellow fog lights are quite charming.

This is the visibility with low beams and fog lights on. Considering the age of this car, it seems fairly bright, but while driving, I sometimes feel the light output is insufficient. I’ve especially noticed this recently, so I think it’s due to the lowered ride height from the RMS2600A affecting my field of vision.
When I removed the rear covers of the high beams and fog lights to check the bulb specifications and installation methods, I found the rubber had hardened and cracked… Same goes for the polycarbonate covers—forced upgrades should be avoided.
- Low beam: HB4
- High beam: H1
- Fog light: H3
Increasing the light output without ruining the aesthetic—I wonder if it’s possible.
