Happy New Year. With the DB8 and S2000, I’m looking forward to enjoying the best FF and FR this year as well.
I’ve been concerned about the paint on my DB8 since I first got it. I previously consulted a paint shop about polishing it, but they politely declined. Honda vintage sports cars have gained value nowadays, but I think many of them have been parked outdoors and have rough paint conditions.
I tried polishing it using a Honda-specific compound from Specular combined with the GP 150S.
This is how it turned out. I couldn’t remove all the scratches, but I think it’s good enough. It took about 8 hours to polish the entire car. Without proper lighting, you can’t even see the scratches, so it’s probably faster than that (lol).
Did the same work on the S2000.
Finished off with a coating.
