It was fitted so neatly that I thought something was off. When I removed it, I found that even the battery tray had been replaced with a custom one.
When I searched for a genuine battery tray, it came up as “Please inquire.” Who even buys parts like this… Since I couldn’t find a new one, I sourced a used part.
The battery setting plate, battery box, battery setting bolt, and nut were available as parts, so I got all of them brand new.

The battery I chose was the Panasonic caos 60B19R/C7. Since the battery location in the Integra Type R is right in front of the bulkhead, I prioritized future maintenance ease over the weight increase from switching from a dry battery.
The battery area is now looking neat and tidy. This was a story about the hassle of gathering all the parts.
