My Integra TYPE R DB8, now looking beautiful after the paint job. It’s the usual spot with the usual composition, but to put it modestly, it looks incredibly cool.
Late morning on a weekday, I invited my wife to join me for a drive up the Turnpike, combining it with lunch. I’ve driven up the Turnpike several times in my previous car, but this time I took it slower compared to before (though the sound was quite fierce). On this steep gradient road, the engine revved properly, producing that distinctive VTEC sound—”KAAAAN!” In the corners, the nose turned in sharply and responsively. Heel-and-toe downshifts, slow and careful steering inputs, and the B18CR sound filling my ears.
Track driving seems fun too, but roads like this are also incredibly special.
