LSD Installation

Tuning/Custom(e

I installed an LSD when I had the engine replaced. I chose the CUSCO type-RS 1.5way.

This was a part I had been interested in for a while, but since it’s expensive and requires quite a lot of labor, I figured this was as good a time as any, for better or worse, so I asked them to do it along with an inspection of the clutch components.

The Integra is back on public roads after two months. Although I’m still in the break-in period, I can already feel the LSD working perfectly. Braking before corners is more stable, and once I turn in and feel the grip, I can power through the turn with the throttle.

Since it’s FF, the front wheels pull the car, but the sensation of the nose pointing inward in response to the throttle while the rear gets a bit squirmy is exactly the feeling I was hoping for.
