As part of returning the car to stock, I replaced the Spoon Duracon shift knob with the genuine titanium shift knob. The part number is 54102-ST7-Z00
When I checked late last year, it was normally in stock, but while I was hesitating thinking “twenty thousand yen, huh…” it went out of stock, so I hurriedly secured a used one in good condition. With genuine parts for this car, you have to buy them when you find them
Since I switched to the genuine titanium horn button for the NSX TYPE R during the recent steering wheel replacement, there’s quite a nice sense of unity
Now, about this genuine shift knob. People say it gets hot or cold, and when I actually used it, it really is cold (and surely hot in summer). However, the weight and grip feel are excellent and comfortable. My DB8’s transmission was also overhauled by TYPE ONE, and now it shifts even more smoothly
