The repaired SACLAM exhaust pipe. It turned out that it was the intermediate pipe section that was distorted, not the end piece, so I headed out to have it installed.
During the repair period, I had a Fujitsubo muffler installed, but compared to the SACLAM exhaust, the clarity of the sound is different. Since they differ in both price and manufacturing method, a simple comparison isn’t possible, but for those who prioritize sound, it’s probably obvious which one they would prefer.
On the way back, the revived accelerator music was back, and the roar in the tunnel was simply unbeatable.
The fitting for the DB8, which was nearly a one-off custom job, has apparently received several orders, and they’ve now prepared dedicated jigs for it. This should lower the barrier for those who live far away.
Since I’m not the most skilled driver, I secured another one in case I break it. I figured it would be too late to get one after they’re gone.
