My S2000 that had the SACLAM exhaust installed at delivery
Compared to the SACLAM exhaust sound of the Integra Type R, it was somehow underwhelming… The range where it sings is narrow, and above 7000 rpm, rather than a high-frequency sound, it becomes more of a high-frequency distorted noise
Hmm, I thought, and consulted with people who seemed knowledgeable

The consensus was “It’s probably the exhaust manifold, right?” So I got an ASM/TODA exhaust manifold. Not the current 07 version, but the older type called 04

DIY exhaust manifold replacement. Both removal and maneuvering it in and out of the engine bay went smoothly. Installing the O2 sensor was quite a struggle though
After the replacement, the sound became clear, and at high revs, it turned into a powerful high-frequency sound. Yes, yes, this is the SACLAM sound! But in terms of sound quality, the Integra Type R still wins

Integra Type R + SACLAM exhaust is the ultimate throttle music
