This window switch here. The DC2 version is for 2-door models, and the DB6 version has an automatic folding mechanism for the side mirrors, so this is actually a DB8-specific part. In the past, a new one sold for nearly 70,000 yen at auction, and since it’s naturally a “consult with dealer” part at Honda, competition in the used market is quite high.
The sashless doors on the DB8 have a rather loose construction, which personally made me feel a bit uneasy, so current owners might also be scrambling to secure these parts. This time, I inherited it from the previous owner along with the service manual shown in the photo.
I’ve also secured a substitute regulator in the past, so I should be able to handle most issues with the window and door components. The frustrating thing is that since it’s used, I can’t test if it actually works…
