It’s around this time of year. The hot season. Suddenly, I get the urge to look at cars.
Our household has a Land Cruiser 100 and a DB8. But sometimes I think I’d like to ride in a small, cramped two-door convertible.
I think the cars and motorcycles I used to own trigger these feelings. The B18C feels closest to the sound and sensation of a 2-stroke bike, and I think it’s the best. The NA Roadster was also incredibly enjoyable.
If I were to consider something, I’d want a car with an exhaust system from SACLAM. Sound is important. Since the DB8 sounds amazing, I probably wouldn’t drive anything that doesn’t sound good.
Thinking about it that way, maybe a 986 Boxster? Finally a Porsche? If I change the headers too, the sound should be great. But what about durability? Are prices trending up? I wonder if parts are still available?
Or maybe even a 996? A Carrera Cabriolet with a manual transmission? Do they even make those? Actually, I wonder if SACLAM even makes an exhaust system for it.
